Hello all!
I set up this blog so that it would be easier for people to check in on what I am up to as I am about to spend the next 6 months between
Nicaragua (June – August) and
Bolivia (September – December).
I will be in Nicaragua working in an internship along with five other amazing girls from Gettysburg. The internship is an alumni and campus supported scholarship program created by the Center for Public Service at Gettysburg and is run through the Foundation for Sustainable Development (FSD). The six of us were each assigned a different location and organization to work with by FSD so we will be dispersed throughout Nicaragua. I will be in Jinotepe, Nicaragua working with the NGO, Cooperativa de Desarrollo Social Comunitario.
After Nicaragua I will have a brief respite at home and Gettysburg with GRAB for ASCENT and then I will be heading to Bolivia for the semester through the School for International Training (SIT).
So that is a very brief synopsis of what I will be up to over the next few months. I will try to keep this blog as updated as possible. I think people can send comments and messages through this so, keep in touch!
